Wesley has had an interest in art since he was young.  He took many art classes in high school and college, but graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a degree in computer science. He took a stained glass class in the early 1980s from a shop owner in Goleta  and discovered that stained glass was the ideal medium for his creative juices. Glass is a wonderful medium to work with because of the wide choice of color palette, glass types and textures. Magic happens when light is transmitted through or reflected off a stained glass art piece.

Wesley keeps up with current trends and techniques through trade shows and classes at the Glass Craft Expo in Las Vegas, and at the Institute of Mosaic Art (IMA) in Oakland.
